Devils Tower and Deadwood

Today we went to Devils Tower, WY to check out the Devils Tower. You may recognize it from the Spielberg alien flick, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. This MASSIVE rock formation was actually a lot cooler than I thought it would be.



Deadwood was just ok. I feel like the charm of this place could have been a lot better if they hadn't turned EVERY place here into a crappy looking casino. By casino I mean 10 slot machines with cheesy western themes. It was kind of cool to see "Wild Bill" Hickok's grave though. "Calamity Jane" is buried right next to him by her request.
